1. Saturday...raya open house started. 2 houses to cover in a day and1 to be cover at night. Only Malaysian (if I'm not mistaken) have this culture. Only in Malaysia too we have Pasar/Bazar Ramadhan. The first house was my ex-colleague, 1st time ever had raya open house. We arrive very early(first guest in fact) ,well I am punctual..We left when most of my ex-colleague starting to show up..Sometimes whenever it become an ex-....better not to interact anymore.. ;-)
2nd house was my ex-schoolmate (primary school). This is fun but I have to wait for an hour for other friends to arrive due to bad traffic everwhere in KL on saturday..to make it worse, its raya season.
3rd house...my long lost best friend.. her house is in my neighbourhood. 3 min driving. Me and her living at the same neighbourhood for almost 2 1/2 years but never bum to each other. How I found her...YESSSS..FB. We talk and talk and talk and talk from 8pm till...2am in the morning. The last time I met her was during her wedding and now she got 3 kids (eldest 6yrs old).... plus minus I havent meet her almost 7 years. Now, as I found her..We promise to keep in touch as long as we can...Insyaallah.. next plan to bring her and kids to have a garden picnic and play kites on one of those weekend..(since her hubby working abroad)
2. On a very peace Sunday afternoon, I witnessed A french man reverting to Islam. I attended the ceremony incidently. During the event, strange but wonderful feeling run through my vain. My heart beeping hard, I feel sad at the same time almost drop a tears. It mades my faith stronger and reminding myself I am also still green in my own religion. This guy comes alone without his friends and family but go home with strong faith of Allah, Muslim friends and family.
3. My bro lepak my house so frequent recently since he started his job at Bandar Utama...Its near to go to my office from ur house,he said..but I know the main reason he stay in my house is because I cooked for dinner and his water supply being cut off (forgot to pay bills. this is what happen if you so used to have PA to run an errands). We both love home cooking. If we want to have meal outside we prefer something different like sushi, dimsum, western food, pasta...something that I am not good to cook...;-D
We had a chat while watching TV and I flip through GLAM magazine he brought back from his office when suddenly my eyes catch a designer handbag that I really love...I said out loud " this is the handbag I am looking for, this design.." And my lovely bro take a look.."u have such a very high taste, do u know how much is that?" I was just smile....He continued "Its Birkin Hermes, not simply a handbag..Dato' Siti have 3, Fazura have 1..maybe permaisuri Agong and other kerabat Raja..let alone Victoria Beckham and other Hollywood celebs...the cheapest is RM50k...and 5 years waiting list in Malaysia....HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA...in US, waiting list is 1 year-2 years, cost USD10k and above...So, I decided to have a wanna be Birkin only which cost me thousands as well.. ;-) Havent got yet...insyaallah.
I havent realise I am into expensive handbag but I do notice my handbag collection are luxury. Yes, I only have 4 handbags but all are designer brand. Why is it very rare I buy handbag..Because I only interested in design which cost me thousands..and I have not realise it untill the day I fall in love with Birkin...*sigh*..and yet I am simple and fun living creature but can be very deatil n particular on certain things.
